A short time ago, i have found a 2 bedroom house in box road Gorseinon a I viewed a property that I was very interested in renting. After the viewing, I asked your staff member about the next steps, and I was informed that I would receive an email with an application form to complete. I promptly completed and submitted the application as instructed..... However, I did not receive any response for an extended period. I contacted your office to follow up and was told that you were waiting for the landlord’s decision. After waiting again without any update, I contacted you once more and was informed that the landlord had selected other applicants.... While I understand that this can happen, I was surprised to later see that the same property was still being advertised as available for rent. This situation has left me confused and concerned about the transparency and fairness of the process.... I would appreciate a clear explanation regarding what happened with my application, and why the property remained listed after I was told it had been taken. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and improve your communication and procedures to avoid similar situations in the future.... ****RESPONSE FROM SA PROPERTY**** - Thank you for your thoughts and i would like to respond to your issues. Firstly, you did view the property along with multiple other viewers and we received multiple offers over the course of a few days. these offers were put to the landlord, who in turn took his time in reviewing and discussing them with us. Understandably, this may not have been in the timescale that you required, but once he had reviewed we intended on contacting everyone to let them know the outcome. In the meantime, you had contacted us to enquire as too your application, which we had said was rejected. I understand that this is disappointing, however there is only one property and multiple people trying to get it. Once the landlord has decided on an applicant to proceed to referencing then we mark the property as let agreed, which shows on our website and the property portals. I am not sure if you maybe have seen the property available in the time between a decision and the property showing as LET AGREED, but i can assure you that it was shown on all portals. Sometimes there is a delay from our website to the property portals but in general through our process (which we always follow) they alway show as LET AGREED. I appreciate that this process can be disappointing at times, however through our strict application and referencing process that we follow we are sure that it is far better than a 1 star review, however i appreciate and welcome all feedback
